Bill Miller, Cindy's father, passed on April 10th, 2006, after a long battle with prostate cancer. I just wanted to post some comments on a man I personally respected and who had the respect and admiration of a great many individuals. He was a shining example of an individual like Tom Brokaw has described in his book "The Greatest Generation".
William H. Miller, Jr. - Memorium
To describe Bill in a short space requires many words. Here are some of them: Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a patriot, a veteran, flight engineer, experimental aircraft pilot, flight navigator, active participant and leader in church, loyal, sincere, honest, opinionated, fair, practical, inquisitive, positive approach to life, willing to help anyone. Bill also received the Distinquished Flying Cross Medal and the Air Medal in WW II for heroism, extraordinary achievement, and gallant devotion. Yep, that describes him pretty well. He will be missed by a great many people. RMR 4/28/2006
